The other day, I wrote about one of my favorite Brooklyn clothing stores, called 4Play Brooklyn. Yesterday, I went by my other favorite, also in Park Slope, specifically on 5th ave and Union Street, called Something else on Fifth. Their price level is moderate, they sell both women’s and men’s clothes, and I especially like their selection of jeans, tops, and hats.
Last summer, I bought some dark blue Red Engine skinny jeans there, and this is still my favorite pair. As opposed to my other jeans, that I frequently have to wash to get back to their original shape and size, this pair stays the same no matter how much I wear them.
Yesterday, I bought the adorable sheer white blouse/shirt that you see in the photo, which was $42 on sale (original price $49). It’s 70% silk, 30% cotton, and the label is called trinity. It looks really nice with black or denim leggings, as well as skinny jeans, and I like to leave it out or tuck it into my pants. It was the one piece of clothing that was missing in my closet, and I really love it!
If you’re in Brooklyn, come to Park slope, ’cause you might find something else on Fifth.
